The teachers and students of the country's Qawmi madrasas have been banned from engaging themselves with all kinds of political activities.
Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh, the highest decision-making board of Qawmi madrasas, took the decision in a meeting on Sunday, a press release said.
The move aims to focus on different religious activities instead of politics, the press release said.
