At least three people were killed as a truck hit the motorbike carrying them on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Bertola area of Sarail upazila in Brahmmanbaria on Monday. The deceased are Jahangir Alam, 45, President of district tank lorry owners association, General Secretary Ali Azam, 40 and Member Shahjahan Miah, 50.They were the inhabitants of Ghatura area in the upazila.
