Music Director Farid Ahmed no more

National Film Award winner music director and composer Farid Ahmed died of Coronavirus on Tuesday morning. 

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in the capital at 9:30am.

He tested positive for the Coronavirus on March 25. He was on life support from April 11.

Farid Ahmed, who won the National Film Award in 2017 for his work in “Tumi Robe Nirobe”, has over 300 scores for television serials and almost 3,000 scores for short television dramas under his belt, and is considered a legend in the music industry.
