Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan confirmed the matter to Jago News on Saturday afternoon.

He said, "The passenger trains will also stay shut like other transports during lockdown but the emergency goods train will ply."

Earlier today, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the government is going to impose nationwide lockdown for one week from Monday, considering the rapid surge of the virus cases.
