Rizvi in stable condition

The health condition of BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who is undergoing treatment in a hospital in the capital, is stable.

"His (Rizvi) oxygen level improves, and he is taking natural food," the party health affairs secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam told Jago News on Friday.

The BNP leader urged the country people, including party leaders and activists, to pray for his recovery, he said. 

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was diagnosed with coronavirus on March after he had suffered from fever for a few days, and later he was admitted to Square Hospital for better treatment. 

And on Thursday he was shifted to ICU of the facility as his physical condition deteriorated.

Earlier on October 13 last yeaer, the BNP senior leader was admitted to Labaid Hospital in the capital after he had suffered a cardiac arrest, and discharged from hospital after two weeks of treatment.
