Habiganj-2 lawmaker Md Abdul Majid Khan has tested positive for COVID-10, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
"He (Abdul Majid Khan) has been suffering from light fever and cold. He gave his sample for coronavirus tests on Sunday that came out positive on Monday night," said his personal assistant Md Selim Uddin.
Now, the parliament member is staying in capital Dhaka for treatment.
Earlier on February 7, MP Abdul Majid Khan received his first dose of coronavirus vaccine.
