Abu Anas, an Economic Editor of The Financial Express, died of a heart attack on Tuesday morning. He was 44.
He breathed his last at 8am, said his colleague Special Correspondent of the daily Siddik Islam.
He was suffering from heart disease for a long time.
Anas left behind his wife and a daughter, a son and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Panthapath Jame Mosque after Asr prayers. Later, he will be buried at Azimpur graveyard in the capital.
Anas was the member of National Press Club. He was also Senior Member of the Economic Reporters’ Forum.
