Two people were killed and another was injured as a covered van hit a pickup van at Bausia area on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj on Saturday morning.The deceased are pickup van driver Abdur Rahman, 32, son of Abdur Razzak of Kebalnagar under Jajira upazila in Shariatpur, and his helper Abdul Kader, 18, son of Abdus Subhan of Beripatal area in Kalihati upazila of Tangail.Sub inspector Kamruzzaman, in-charge of Bhaberchar police camp, said the pickup van turned turtle on the road after being hit by the covered van.Driver and helper of the pickup van died on the spot.A case was filed in this connection.
