A fire burned down six shops at Mogbazar in the capital on Friday morning.
The fire broke out in Madhubag area around 10am, leaving one injured and six shops destroyed.
Lima Khanam, duty officer at control room of Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarter, confirmed this to Jago News.
Being informed, two units of the fire extinguishers went to the spot and doused the blaze, she said.
Lima also said the causes of the fire could not be known yet.
The injured, Sujan, 23, is a worker at one of the damaged shops, she added.
