IU professor dies of coronavirus

Professor Dr Saidur Rahman, Student Affairs Adviser of Islamic University (IU), has died of coronavirus. 

Dr Saidur, also the chairman of the IU’s Bengali Department, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Ibn Sina in the capital’s Kalyanpur around 6am.  

His colleague Professor Dr Rashiduzzaman confirmed the death to Jago News.  

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at his father-in-law’s hometown in Jhenaidah’s Shailkupa and second janaza at IU campus. Later, he will be buried in Meherpur after his third janaza in Kushtia.
