Bangladesh cricket team members and coaching staffs on Thursday received Covid-19 vaccine.
The vaccination programme started at Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital around 11:45am.
The Soumya Sarkar first got vaccinated and later Tamim Iqbal received the vaccine.
The tigers are scheduled to go to New Zealand on Saturday for three-match One Day series and two match T20 series.
According to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), a total of 36 cricketers will be vaccinated in two days.
