A court in Gazipur sentenced five people to death penalty for killing apprentice lawyer Firozuzzaman alias Sohel.The court also fined Tk 10,000 each.Judge M Fazle Elahi Bhuiyan of Gazipur Additional District and Session Judge Court handed down the verdict on Thursday Morning.The death-row convicts are one Abudur Rauf’s wife Amena Begum, 53 and his two sons- Sajal, and Bappi and Badal, Tithi Akter both of the son of Kafil Uddin.Of them Amena, Sajal and Bappi are runaway. It is mentionable that, lawyer Firozuzzaman was hacked to injured at Dakkhin Chayabithi area in Gazipur on March 9, 2008. Later he was first sent to Gazipur sadar hospital and later admitted to hospital of Dhaka. Firozuzzaman was died during his treatment on March.
