A man was killed by his brother in the election violence of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nizamuddin, a supporter of Awami League’s rebel councilor candidate Saber Ahmmed. His brother Salahuddin is the supporter of Awami Legue-backed candidate Nurul Amin.
Rashedul Haque, Officer-in-charge of Pahartoli Police Station, confirmed the death to Jago News.
“There was a long-standing dispute between them,” the OC said.
