3 BCL activists hurt as police charge baton in Ctg College

At least three activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured in a clash with police in Chittagong College on Monday as BCL activists tried to enter into the campus amid embargo imposed by College authority following several clashes between Chhatra Sibir and BCL.The wounded are Monir, Nayem and Mahmudul Karim, activists of BCL Chittagong College unit.Refusing about the baton charging incidents officer-in charge of Chakbazar Police Station Aziz Ahmed said College authority has imposed embargo in college entering following several clashes between BCL and Shibir on last two day.Amid the embargo some students tried to enter into campus forcefully but police managed to foil their efforts, he added.Injured Mahmudul Karim alleged that police charged baton on them as they staying at the campus area in the morning.Injured were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
