RAB has pressed charges against 15 people, including former officer in-charge of Cox's Bazar's Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das, in a case filed over the murder of Major (retr) Sinha Md Rashed.
Md Khairul Alam, assistant superintendent of police of RAB-15, submitted the charge-sheet before the court of Cox's Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate on Sunday, more than four months after the lawsuit was lodged.
After submitting the charge-sheet, ASP Khairul said RAB its investigation found involvement of 15 people in the killing.
Among the accused, suspended OC Pradeep and 13 others have been in jail custody and the rest is on the run.
On July 31, Sinha was killed in police firing at Baharchhara police check-post on Marine Drive road in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar.
On August 5, his sister Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous filed a case with Teknaf Police Station in this connection.
