Police recovered 12 human skulls and two sacks of bones from Ramkrishna Mision Road area in Mymensingh city on Sunday morning.
Kotwali Police Station officer in-charge (investigation) Faruk confirmed the matter.
The police official also said they detained a young man along with the skulls and bones.
More details in this regard would be informed later, he added.
