India on Saturday registered 50,357 new coronavirus cases in a single-day, pushing the country's tally to over 84.62 lakh, according to the Union health ministry data.
With the fresh number of coronavirus infections, India's tally has climbed to 84,62,081, reports Reuters.
According to the updated health ministry data, 557 coronavirus patients succumbed to the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the country due to the infection to over 1.25 lakh.
