B’baria road crash leaves 3

Three people were killed and four others injured in a triangular collision among a truck, CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a microbus in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria on Friday afternoon.

Among the deceased, two were women and one was child but detailed identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Khatihata Highway Police Station officer in-charge Mahbubur Rahman said a goods-laden truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Cumilla-Sylhet road in Syedabad area around 1:45pm. 

After a while, a microbus also got hit with the truck and the autorickshaw, leaving seven people injured.

The injured were rushed to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared three dead, OC Mahbubur said.
