Though this year's HSC and equivalent examinations have been cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic, the students won't get form fill-up fee back, said the Inter-Education Coordinating Board.
"There is no chance to give form fill-up fee back because all preparations of examination were completed with the money students gave on the account of filling form," the coordinating board president prof Md Ziaul Haque told Jago News.
He, also chairman of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, said certificate of the students will also be provided with the money.
Earlier on October 7, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni announced cancellation of this year's Higher Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations.
She also said HSC results would be published on basis of JSC-JDC and equivalent exam results.
After the announcement of exam cancellation, guardians demanded the government return form fill-up fee taken Tk 2,500 to 3,000 per student.
