10 more militants held in crackdown

Law enforcers claimed in the morning that they have arrested ten suspected militants in separate drives in last 24 hours during the weeklong anti-militant combing operation after wave of killing.A K H Kamrul Ahsan, senior information officer at the Police Headquarters said law enforcers arrested two members of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh from Naogaon and the rest seven from Sherpur, Rajshahi, Chapainobabganj, Ranjpur, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Barguna districts.In the meantime, police arrested one Hizb ut-Tahrir member from the capital.During the drives police also recovered two cocktails, one sharp weapon and seven leaflets from their possession, the officer added.
