Saudi Arabia has extended Iqama (valid work permit) for Bangladeshi workers for 24 days.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam confirmed this in a post at his verified Facebook page on Wednesday.
In the post, he wrote that in request of Bangladesh government, Saudi government has taken the decisions bellow-
Iqama has been extended until last day of Arabic month Safar (Twenty four days from today). Bangladesh Biman has been permitted to operate four flights each week to Riyadh and Jeddah. Visa office of Saudi Arabia Embassy in Dhaka will remain open from Sunday where consular services would be provided following new guidelines on COVID-19.
