Sub-registrar of Dakkhin Sunamganj upazilla of Sunamganj district Md Jafar Ahmed died of coronavirus (Covid-19) at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early today, reports BSS.
He was 58.
Jafar left behind wife, two daughters, host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Law Minister Anisul Huq expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jafar Ahmed.
In a message of condolence, the law minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar and Inspector General of Directorate of Registration Shahidul Alam Jhinuk also mourned Jafar’s death.
