Tamim apologises for his furious outburst

Describing his furious outburst with umpires as just an emotional explosion Tamim Iqbal, opener of Bangladesh Cricket Team and captain of Abahani has apologised for his furious his outburst with the umpires in the Dhaka Premier League match against Prime Doleshwar on Sunday. I definitely felt sorry for my reaction what I have done with umpires. I shouldn’t have reacted like that. As a cricket star and icon player of national cricket I shouldn’t have reacted with such fury, Tamim apologised on Monday for his wrongheaded work. Though Tamim was apologetic of his outburst, but he said that he never expected the umpires to walk out. Earlier, on Sunday, the uncalled for incident sparked when Sohel did not raise his finger to a stumping appeal made by Abahani spinner Saqlain Sajib against Doleshwar’s Raqibul Hasan in the 16th over. Consequently, the Abahani fielders, including Captain Tamim Iqbal, reacted furiously towards the umpires before the Sky Blues supporters too joined in the act. Doleshwar were batting on 59/2, chasing 192, when the umpires brought a premature end to the game after consulting with Montu.
