A leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was slaughtered to death by unidentified miscreants in Rajshahi. The throat slit body was recovered body from a pond of Hamirkutsa village in the district on Tuesday morning. The victim is Altaf Hosen Shah, 35, son of late Mujibul Shah of the village Hamirkutsa. He went into missing on Monday Morning. According to source, locals spotted a dead body in the pond and informed this to the police. Later police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body and sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue. In this connection, Officer-in-charge of Bagmara Police Station Selim Hosen said, we are investigating the matter who are behind the killing.
