At least 100 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over trifling matter at Sutang bazaar in Habiganj district in Monday.Witness said villagers of Kandigao and Surabai locked into controversy over riding human hauler on Sunday night.Following the conflict, villagers equipped with lethal weapons carried out attack on each other triggering a bloody clash, leaving at least 100 people injured. Later, the injured were whisked off to Habiganj Sadar Hospital.Being informed, police rushed in and opened fire to stop the villagers.Ehsanul Haque, officer in charge of Shaistaganj Police Station said after reaching at the spot police brought the situation under control.Additional policemen were deployed at the area to avoid further clash.
