Woman remanded over Christian trader murder in Natore

A Natore court on Monday placed a woman, who was arrested from Dhaka, on a three day remand in connection with the killing of Christian trader Sunil Gomez.The remanded woman was identified as Monowara Begum.Senior judicial magistrate Shamsul Al Amin passed the order in the morning when DB inspector Abdul Hye produced her before the court seeking a five-day remand against her.Earlier, a team of the DB arrested Monowara from Badda area of capital on Sunday.Sunil Gomej, 60, a grocer and a former employee of Banpara Christian Missionary, was hacked to death by miscreants at Banpara Christian Palli in Baraigram upazila of Natore on June 5.
