PSG are one of the best sides in the world: Flick

Hansi Flick is excited to take on Paris Saint-Germain, who he sees as one of the best sides in the world, in Sunday evenings Champions League final.

The Bayern Munich coach is preparing for his first appearance in European club football's showpiece event and hopes to lead Bayern to another treble, following Jupp Heynckes' footsteps after he did the same in 2013.

"We're facing Paris and we're excited to meet one of the best teams in the world," Flick said ahead of the game.

"They have a great coach and a fantastic philosophy.

"I appreciate Thomas Tuchel both as a person and as a coach.

"Lyon had a number of chances to score against Bayern in the semi-final before the Germans took the lead, but Flick isn't planning on changing his philosophy on Sunday.

"Our style is defined by moving the lines forward," he said.

"The important thing is that we focus our pressure on the ball.

"We went back and analysed our games against Barcelona and Lyon and it's key that we shut down the passing channels.

"Paris have a lot of top players and it'll be an interesting game, but we want to take our philosophy forward with us.

"The coach is pleased with the strength in depth at Bayern, which has been shown in the Champions League's knockout rounds.

"[Kingsley] Coman and [Philippe] Coutinho have shown that they can help us when they've come on," he said in response to a question asking if they could start.

"There have been a lot of games and we will have to take the physical condition of each player into account."
