Seven people including four members of the police have been placed on a seven-day remand each in the case filed for the killing of former army major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan.
Teknaf Senior Judicial Magistrate Tamanna Farha passed the order at 11am on Wednesday after RAB produced them before the court with 10-day remand for each.
Senior lawyer Mohammad Mostofa confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Major (retd) Sinha was killed in police firing at Baharchhara police check-post on July 31.
Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous, elder sister of Sinha, filed a case with Teknaf Senior Judicial Magistrate Court after the incident on August 5.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Tamanna Farah issued warrants for the arrest of all the accused after taking the case into cognizance on that day.
