A police constable was killed when a truck hit him in Joka Black Spot area under Ghior upazila in Manikganj on Sunday morning.The dead man is Jakir Hossain, son of Baker Mollah of Kodomtoli area in Narayanganj.Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ghior Police Station Mizanur Rahman said Jakir was on duty when a reckless driver of a truck ran him over on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 7am, leaving him dead on the spot.
