Five people were killed and one injured as a bus rammed into a private car in Osmaninagar upazila of Sylhet on Friday morning.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Tamabil Highway Police Station officer in-charge Mainul Islam said a bus rammed into a private car Tanpur area on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 7:30am, leaving five dead and one seriously hurt.
The deceased were passengers of the private car and returning home in Sylhet from Dhaka, said the OC.
The injured was admitted to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, Sylhet, and the killer bus also seized, OC Mainul added.
