Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Saturday said government has detained activists of BNP in the name of anti-militant combing operation across the country.‘Government is not eager to eradicate militants but they nursed it and now they are trying to curb down the BNP men,’ he said in a press conference at BNP’s Naya Palton office at noon.He claimed that law enforcers have arrested 1200 people in the name of combing operations. Law enforcers have started a weeklong countrywide anti-militant combing operation across the country after killing of SP’s wife on June 5 in Chittagong.
