Ansar Al-Islam, a banned Islamist militant’s outfit on Friday condemned the killing of SP Babul Akter’s wife by miscreants in Chittagong on June 5, says US-based SITE Intelligence Group.According to SITE Intelligence Group, a terrorist activities monitoring website Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent’s (AQIS) Bangladeshi part Ansar Al-Islam has condemned the SP’s wife killing where IS claimed that it had killed Nitya Ranjan Pandey.Earlier, unidentified miscreants gunned down Mahmuda Khanam, wife of Babul Akter, Superintendent of Police, at the city’s GEC intersection on June 5, while she went there to drop her son, Mahir Akhter, 7, for a bus to Chittagong Cantonment Public School and College.Beside, Nitya Ranjan Pandey, 62, son of late Rashik Lal Pandey of Gopalganj, a caretaker of the ashram, was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Hemayetpur in Sadar upazila early Friday in the same style the three other people were killed in different parts of the country this week.Earlier, 62, an attendant of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra Ashram a Hindu ashram at Hemayetpur in Sadar upazila of Pabna district on Friday morning.
