A leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) hacked to death by miscreants at Kandapara area in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi in the early hours of Friday.The deceased was identified as Shamim Mia, son of Jalal Uddin hailing from the area and the convener of Zia parishad.Family sources said, Shamim went out from his resident when some unidentified people called him on Thursday night.In the morning local people his body besides his resident.On information police recovered the body tand sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.Khondokar Imam Hossen, Officer in Charge of Shibpur Police Station confirmed the incident.
