Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated in Bangladesh on August 1 as the Zil Hajj moon was not sighted anywhere in the country on Tuesday.
The National Moon Sighting Committee took the decision in a meeting held at the office of Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram today.
The festival would be celebrated in the Middle East countries, including Saudi Arabia, on July 31.
