Two people were killed and four others were injured in a road accident at Sadhur Bridge area on Dhaka-Barishal Highway in Rajoir upazila of Madaripur district early Friday.Officer-in charge of Rajoir Police Station Md Anowarul Islam said the accident took place when the driver of a Mustafapur-bound truck from Tekerhat lost his control over its steering and hit Soharab Matubbar, 28, son of Ajet Matubbar hailing from Notakanda area of the district, leaving him dead on spot.In the meantime, the truck hit a road side tree, leaving Rasel Bapari, 32, son of Majid Bapary hailing from Baparipara area in Rajoir upazila dead on spot and four others injured.Later, locals rescued the injured and sent them to Upazila Health Complex.On information, police rushed in the spot and recovered the bodies.
