Seventy-three leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have died from coronavirus across the country so far.
Besides, two hundred and eighty-four leaders and activists of the party have been infected with the virus.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said at a press conference through online on Thursday.
Criticizing the government’s activities, Fakhrul said they didn’t able to show their responsibilities in the pandemic.
In a reply to a question, Fakhrul said, the China experts said Bangladesh had no preparation to fight the coronavirus.
It is proved that the country’s health system has been broken, he said.
