The government has declared general holidays in seven areas of four more districts marking those as red zones in an effort to limit the coronavirus spread.
The areas located in Cox's Bazar, Magura, Khulna and Habiganj districts, the Ministry of Public Administration said in an order on Tuesday.
Earlier, 12 areas of five districts, and 27 areas of 10 districts were announced as red zones respectively on Monday and Sunday. General holidays were also declared in the areas.
According to the order, general holidays in the areas will start from June 24 and continue for 21 days.
However, emergency and essential services will remain out of the purview of the restrictions, the order said.
