Former lawmaker from Cox’s Bazar-4 (Ukhia-Teknaf) constituency Abdur Rahman Bodi, who has been infected with coronavirus, was admitted to Anwar Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka early Saturday.
Confirming the matter, Bodi’s Personal Assistant Helal Uddin, said, his health condition didn’t deteriorate but he was admitted to the hospital to keep in touch with the doctors.
Earlier, Bodi left Cox’s Bazar for Dhaka around 8pm on Friday for better treatment. After reaching the capital, he was admitted to the hospital around 4am.
On Thursday, Bodi was admitted to the Union Hospital in Cox’s Bazar with the symptoms of coronavirus. Later, he tested positive for the virus on Friday evening.
