Two leaders of banned Islamist militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), who have been killed in gunfight with Counter Terrorism Unit of police in city’s Pallabi area early Tuesday, involved in Rezaul Karim, teacher of Rajshahi University, murder and Bogra Shia mosques bombing incidents, said police.Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Monirul Islam came up with the claim in a press briefing at DMP’s Media and Public Relation department at noon.He said Tarek Hossain alias Milu alias Ismail, JMB leader of Joypurhat was the mastermind of Prof Rezaul Karim, 58, teacher of English Department of RU, killing mission and he led the mission where Sultan Mahmud Rana alias Kamal, JMB leader of Bogra, was involved with the attack on the Shiite mosque left its muezzin dead and three devotees injured at Haripur village in Shibganj upazila in Bogra on November 26.
