A court in Natore on Tuesday placed a man on a 2-day remand in a case filed in connection with the murder of Christian missionary Sunil Gomez in Natore on Sunday. Senior Judicial Magistrate Samsul Al Amin passed the order while police brought Sabuj, a tenant of Sunil’s house, before the court. Earlier, Sunil Gomej, 60, a grocer and a former employee of Banpara Christian Missionary, was hacked to death by miscreants at Banpara Christian Palli in Baraigram upazila of Natore on Sunday.Victim’s daughter Swapna Gomez filed the case with Baraigram Police Station around 10:30pm on the day.
