Pabna Police Superintendent Sheikh Rafiqul Islam has tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus.
His report came positive on Friday, additional SP of Pabna Goutam Kumar Biswas confirmed, adding that Rafiqul is now taking treatment at home.
Civil surgeon Dr Mehedi Iqbal said the SP is doing well, and is in home isolation under supervision of Pabna General Hospital's physician Khairul Islam.
