One person died from coronavirus and seven others died with its symptoms in the last 24 hours in Khulna.
Md Farid Hossen, 55, of Horintana area, died from COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at Khulna Corona Hospital.
Besides, seven people died at Khulna Medical College Hospital with the virus symptoms.
They are Rokeya, 65, wife of Abdul Mannan, of Narail, Kamrunnahar, 45, wife of Badrul Alam, of Gopalganj, Ripon, 22, son of Shushanta Mondol of Satkhira, Delwar Hossen, 65, son of late Majid Hawladar of Khulna, Md Alim, 30, son of Moslem Dofadar of Jashore and Mim, 12, daughter of Rajib Hossen of Daulatpur thana
Confirming the deaths to Jago News, Doctor Sujat Ahmed, Civil Surgeon of Khulna, said they died from Sunday night to Monday morning. Samples from the people, who died with coronavirus symptoms, have collected for the test.
So far, 36 people have been died with COVID-19 in the city.
