FE dist correspondent dies from coronavirus

Abdul Monayem Khan, the district correspondent of the Daily Financial Express, died from coronavirus on Sunday afternoon.

He, 54, breathed his last at Chattogram Medical College Hospital around 3pm, his relative Joynal Abedin confirmed the matter.

The senior journalist tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus, on May 31, according to family members.

Before joining FE, Monayem Khan also worked with the Daily Star, New Age, and Daily Sun.

Besides, he worked with several others dailies and local newspapers.
