The government has planned to identify some areas in capital Dhaka as red zone and lock down those from Sunday where the dwellers must stay at home.
For the dwellers of red zone, essentials would be reached their home by the volunteers and public representatives, sources in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.
The sources said most coronavirus affected area would be identified as red zone, comparatively low affected one as yellow, and less affected or infection free one as green zone.
The areas under red zone will be put on lockdown and the flow of people in and out of the area would be prohibited, health service division additional secretary (administration) Md Habibur Rahman Khan told Jago News.
The essentials of the residents in red zone would be reached their home, Habibur said, adding that the movement restrictions would be eased in case of inevitable reason.
