Former health minister Mohammed Nasim, also a presidium member of the ruling Awami League, tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday and was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in Dhaka’s Shyamoli.
He was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital after he complained of breathing problem.
Now he is doing well, Al Imran Chowdhury, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the hospital told Jago News on Tuesday morning.
Mohammed Nasim is the lawmaker from Sirajganj-1 constituency in the present parliament.
