At least two people were killed and three others injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Syedpur area of Sadar upazila in Comilla on Monday morning.One of the deceased was identified as Mamtaz Begum, 35, hailing from Burichong upazila.Officer-in-charge of Maynamoti Highway Police Station, Mahabubur Rahman said the accident took place in the area when the Dhaka-bound truck hit the auto-rickshaw in the morning, leaving two people dead on the spot and three others injured.
