As part of helping the people who have been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, PRAN-RFL Group has, so far, distributed food items among around 60,000 families.
The food items include rice, pulse, potatoo, salt, soap and oil.
Nurul Afsar, PRAN-RFL Group's head of corporate brand, said, "As part of social responsibility, we've helped around 60,000 families with food whom the coronavirus shutdown left job."
Besides, the business conglomerate in Bangladesh provided masks, personal protection equipment (PPE), hand sanitizer and booth for collecting samples to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), and 10 hospitals, he said.
The company's marketing director Kamruzzaman Kamal said they have underlined two things to stand by the people during the pandemic; one is food distribution among low income people, and second assisting the health sector.
