The media workers in Bangladesh like elsewhere in the globe are being infected with the coronavirus significantly as they have to continue professional duties amid the disease' fast outbreak.
A total of 108 staff of 49 media houses caught the deadly virus and two died as of Thursday since the country first confirmed its virus cases on March 8.
Among the infected, 25 journalists recovered from the virus.
Some 18,863 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Bangladesh and 283 died from the pathogen.
