Five more people died in the corona unit installed at Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday.
With this, so far 31 people have died in the unit in four days.
Mohammad Riaz, ward master of the unit, confirmed the new deaths to Jago News.
“One person died on May 2 and twelve on May 3, thirteen on May 4 and five on May 5. Of them, four tested positive for coronavirus and the rest admitted to the unit with coronavirus symptoms and died before getting the results of their corona tests, Riaz said.
He said, 302 people admitted to the unit in four days and out of them 55 are corona patients.
