Eminent historian and Dhaka University history Professor Muntasir Mamun has been hospitalized with symptoms similar to the coronavirus.
He was admitted to Mugda General Hospital in the capital on Sunday evening.
Muntasir’s daughter Roya Muntasir said her father has been admitted to the hospital with coronavirus symptoms. Her father tested negative for the virus ten days ago.
Muntasir is well-known for his various research works on the Liberation War in 1971. He also stood as a witness before the war crime tribunal.
He is also the vice president of Ekattorer Ghatok Dalal Nirmul Committee.
